Each weather type lasts for approximately 36 hours within the game before rotating to the next one. According to the update notes from May 8, 2026, weather now switches every Wednesday; this allows players to plan their schedules in advance so they don't miss out on the specific weather content they are interested in. Additionally, a very practical new feature has been added: a permanent countdown timer has been placed above the in-game Clock Tower. The formerly shimmering waterways turn into cracked, arid ground, and the overall color palette of the scene shifts to warm yellow tones—creating a highly exotic atmosphere that makes you feel as though you’ve been transported to beautiful South Africa.

Desert Shop

Desert Weather brings with it an exclusive Desert Shop, located in the underground area behind the School—specifically, in the area where the riverbed usually lies. During Desert Weather, as the rivers dry up completely, players will discover the entrance to an underground cavern in this location, marked by a sign at the doorway. The shop's NPC is named Bastet. This shop sells a variety of desert-themed toys, pet accessories, and vehicles—such as the Abyssinian Cat, Nemes, and Landsailer. Most importantly, it offers Mud Balls, which are used to tame the Scarab—a pet exclusive to desert weather. Fall Weather

Fall Weather was first released on August 11, 2022. Previously, it returned on the 20th of every month, lasting for 36 hours each time. When Fall Weather is active, the entire map is enveloped in autumnal colors—the grass turns orange-yellow, trees are adorned with yellow, red, and orange maple leaves, and piles of fallen leaves are scattered across the ground. Fall Shop

During the rainy weather, rain will fall across the entire Adoption Island; water levels will rise, and the environment will become lush, vibrant, and full of life. The most distinctive feature of this weather event is that it introduces two exclusive shops unique to this specific weather type.

Rain Shops

The rainy weather brings with it the Rain Gift Shop and the Rain Boat Shop. These two shops sell different types of merchandise. The Rain Gift Shop primarily sells accessories for players and pets, as well as exclusive pets; the Rain Boat Shop mainly sells vehicles—specifically boat-type vehicles—such as the Galleon and the Old Sailboat. The exclusive pet available for direct purchase is the Ocelot, priced at 500 Bucks. The Rain Gift Shop is located between the Camping Shop and Green Groceries, while the Rain Boat Shop sits right next to the Camping Shop. When the Snow Weather is active, the entire Adoption Island is blanketed in white; the riverways freeze over, allowing players to even go ice skating across the frozen surfaces. Buildings and roadways are covered in snow, creating a silvery-white landscape that lends the entire map a romantic, yet distinctly chilly, atmosphere. Such quiet and romantic snowy days always evoke a sense of life's beauty, making it the perfect time to treat yourself to a relaxing getaway.

Snowy Igloo Shop

The Snowy Igloo Shop is located just in front of the Playground. During snowy weather, the area where the river usually flows freezes completely over, and an igloo appears atop the ice—this is the snowy-day shop we've been looking for. The shop's NPC is named Aurora; she stands inside the igloo to welcome players. Here, you can purchase a variety of winter-themed toys, accessories, and exclusive pets—including the adorable Ribbon Seal, which sells for 700 Bucks. Players can also spend 169 Robux to purchase a Golden Clam; opening it grants you an Albatross pet. There are three different Albatross variations available as rewards:

Note — Ribbon Seal: Although the Ribbon Seal can technically be hatched from both Basic Eggs and Crystal Eggs, it can only be hatched while the snow weather event is active. Weather Needs
